Warner/Elektra gave Howard and his keyboard tech Robbie Bronnimann access to the original master tapes, and they've digitally remastered the albums with reportedly much better sound quality than the original CD issues. The third bonus disc, named after his rare "Risk" singles, contains live tracks from early performances.

At 10:30 this morning Bristol had a few white Verizon pads and a few black 16GB WiFi pads. Neither was what I was looking for. I went to MV, Spectrum, Fashion Isalnd, called Brea and Cerritos - all sold out. I am going back to Bristol for opening time tomorrow.

Bristol Apple store? Ill be going to Best Buy (Tustin / the District / Costa Mesa, either of those) to reserve an iPad tomorrow. If they happen to have one, ill get a black 16gb WiFi. Ill probably call each store before I go though. Either way, Ill have one by the end of the week it seems.

Then if I am totally empty handed Ill just expand outside of the OC if I have to.

Hummm... make it a little of everything.... Build in a Mac, and AppleTV with Wifi, Airplay, Blue tooth, and Thunderbolt.
Now you have a computer, a media center and a TV. Add a wireless keyboard with a build in trackpad and now I can sit on my couch and do everything. And don't forget... link in your iPad or iPhone for more fun! :)

I work for a company called Prime Alliance Solutions and our entire company is migrating from Windows machine to macs running Parallels. We are also changing out our windows servers to a to Xserves. Most of the users have never used macs before but overall they have had an excellent experience!!! :) ... Things are changing specially if our Windows Centric Business is willing to go all Mac! I am soo stoked for APPLE!!
I'm holding off until WWDC to decide what route of "Mac conversion" I am going to be using. If Leopard has a built in Parallels type solution (which I believe it will), then I will absolutely begin my church's mac conversion in January.

That is so crazy. One day they receive 40-50 and the next 15 wifi. Rough. I can only imagine the line tomorrow as it will be Friday, people take off work, weekend, etc.

Now although a white iPhone version does not appeal to me just as the white iPad did not, I'm pretty sure my wife would love to exchange her black iPhone for a white one.
The release of this new color sure does concern me (as others have stated) as to the release of the iPhone 5. This has to spell doom for a summer release and possibly pushes it to the Christmas holiday time frame. :(

Forgive my ignorance, but wasn't "Light Peak" supposed to be implemented via fiber optics for internal implementation?
if by "internal" you mean "inside the box," that seems unlikely. The main benefit of fiber optics is over distances greater than those inside a PC. Signals on PCB's travel at something like 25% of the speed of light (depending on dielectric), which may seem slow, but is very speedy compared to the long cables used to connect PCs to external peripherals.

My favorite iPhone design was the first one. Bring back the aluminum and rounded sides. It's not comfortable to hold this iPhone 4 brick!
It's just a matter of what you're used to. I love my IP4, and my wife's 3GS feels clunky to me. Cognitive dissonance says you'll end up defending whatever you have and resist changes. Just human nature, not good/bad design.

Don't you guys think that the iPod being overtaken is about as likely as Apple overtaking HP, Dell, and Gateway?
I just don't see it happening, Apple has a really high following when it comes to mp3 players and when people have had an iPod, they upgrade to a new iPod, not a Zune.

gee wiz apple... 1 whole year? frick, and i just bought the logitech wireless desktop...
I have a Logitech Wireless MX 1000, and I love it, and wouldn't trade it for the world, and especially wouldn't trade it for a wireless Mighty Mouse.
A USB Mighty Mouse came with my G5, and I just stick it in my laptop case so I can have a backup mouse so i don't have to use the trackpad when I travel. I figure that's about all its good for when you have a really high-quality mouse like the MX 1000 laying around :-)
