How are these? I'm looking for a wheel for F1 2010 and GT5 (when they both come out).
I was about to purchase the G25 but these may do as well.
Does it have paddles?
Hey. I got the wheel for the same games. I'm loving mine at the moment. It's the first proper steering wheel I have had and I can't fault it at all. I paid �80 for each of them and for me personally, its well worth the money.
It does have paddles on the reverse of the wheel. I've read many reviews about them being too small to use comfortably, but I've put a good 2 hours or so use on it so far and I have no problems what so ever. Its improved my lap times already and has made me (from what I can tell) a smoother driver.
I did look at the fanatec wheels, but ultimately decided to get the GT5 one as it was in a price range I could comfortably (due to student loans) afford.

I'll decide what to do later, I'm well within the 14 day return obviously, but I'm also not too keen on returning the laptop and waiting a few more weeks for a new one to arrive in Canada.
Id return and get the faster one. It will suck until it arrives but once you got it youll be thanking yourself.
I am 5 days out of the exchange after grabbing one a few weeks ago.... Oh well.

uDAC is not an amp. its a DAC.
The uDAC-2 has both a DAC and an amp. NuForce.com "As a step beyond the successful uDAC, the uDAC-2 boasts a highly linear TOCOS volume control for improved channel tracking at low listening levels, in addition to 24bit/96kHz USB DAC and an improved headphone amp. "
have you noticed a big difference with the amp? i have the same headphones, which are fantastic, btw.

Which reminds me. Every time I've bought an OS upgrade ( for as long as I can remember - probably back to OS 7 ) there has been a set of coupons included to prove that I purchased it. Has there ever been a scheme where customers actually get something in exchange for those coupons ?
I believe there was a coupon upgrade program for 10.0 to 10.1. It was a "free" upgrade that cost $19.95 if you ordered the CD from the online store, but there were some copies available free of charge at some retail locations (this was pre-brick and mortar Apple Stores) like CompUSA and Fry's while supplies lasted. Many retailers didn't require proof of 10.0 ownership as the 10.1 was upgrade-only and thus useless to people who didn't have 10.0 installed already, but some asked for proof of purchase for 10.0. The coupon generally satisfied that requirement (as would a sales receipt).

Oh great. I'm going to have to tie up my Internet connection for a long period of time to update my 4G iPod touch and iPad 2 for the 4.3.2 update. :rolleyes:
I REALLY hope that Apple does incremental updates of iOS starting with iOS 5.0 to save us from tying up the broadband connection for such a long period of time.

I've been using Parallels for running VISTA and Win XP but today I found the link for the Vmware Beta Download that has only from what I understand been handed out to some for testing.

I�m running it and works well. I know it�s in Beta but already after installing and running our Full copy of Vista and Win XP on Fusion, I�m going to stick with Vmware.
Now, right now it�s free, and not sure if it will cost money down the road for Vmware, but this one is free but only perk to Vmware is that the �Vmware� logo pop up as a water mark on the screen every now and then. Hasesnt really bothered me.
Anyways, good luck if you try it out.
Can�t wait for the full release free or not, will probably get it.

You do know there are clear cases used to protect the phone from scratches, right? And rigid "bumper" style cases that still show off the front and back. Not every case covers up the entire phone.

Yes. I really wouldn't care if iPhone hardware upgrades came every 2 years. Just keep those iOS updates coming! That's the more important part now.

We are getting to a point where acceleration in software developments is going to take over acceleration in hardware development/production, if any.
Just as it turns out for the rest of Si-manu./PC/Tech industry, hardware has more or less reached a settling point. It's going to grow but not at a pace we have had until now. Software is more important; has always been imo.

I have had every model of iPhone since they where released in 2007..... The only one I did not sell with a profit was the original iPhone where no contract discount pricing was available.....
Every other model made money at resale.
Might get this, might not. Don't do contracts so it would be a simple case of buying and selling. Something most people I know do. You lot (Americans) should start doing the same and stop being beholden to 24 month contracts.

Sounds plausible. I don't know what else Apple can add to its existing iPod line besides small improvements... a few of their recent "revolutions" (buttonless Shuffle, touch-screen nano) have actually been steps backward, imo.
